Trish Grey is a Senior Clinical Research Associate who joined PCRG in September 2005.
Trish is a Registered Nurse with a BSc. She worked in the surgical area for 18 months specializing in bowel and abdominal surgery, 2 years in a medical ward specializing in Renal and Peritoneal Dialysis and 6 years in Coronary Care. She moved from the unit and had a 10 year history as a Research Coordinator at Middlemore Hospital.
Trish was involved with cardiac trials as a Research Coordinator. Many of these were Phase III randomized, double-blind, multi-centre, active and placebo-controlled trials looking at the safety and efficacy of investigative study medications in subjects in various clinical indications. Trish was responsible for patients from enrolment through to close-out of the study ensuring adherence to protocols and GCP. She was also responsible for managing resources within budget allocation and reviewing Clinical Trial and Indemnity Agreements.
Since working with PCRG as a CRA and now Senior CRA, Trish has worked with many sites in Australia and New Zealand who are participating in trials across a wide variety of therapeutic arenas. Her role includes study start-up, site initiation visits, interim monitoring visits and study close-out visits, in addition to clinical trial management activities.
