Manager of Clinical Programs

Stephanie is an experienced Project Manager with more than 15 years national and international experience in clinical research. She joined PCRG in 2008 and was appointed Manager of Clinical Programs in 2010. She is based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Stephanie is a New Zealand Registered Nurse and holds an Arts degree from the University of Auckland in German/Political Studies and a Graduate Diploma in Translation Studies.

On completion of her graduate qualification in coronary intensive care Stephanie spent 15 years living and working in Germany.  She speaks fluent German and her experience at one of the well respected German cardiac institutions has provided her with an appreciation of research conduct and processes within the European environment.

On returning to New Zealand Stephanie joined Mercy Angiography Unit where she was a founding member of the interventional cardiology research team. In 2001 she was recruited to Green Lane Hospital which amalgamated with Auckland City Hospital, a tertiary institution with a reputation for excellence in research. Stephanie worked in a multi-disciplinary interventional cardiology research team, which was considered to be at the forefront of cardiac research in the Southern Hemisphere. She has managed an extensive portfolio of clinical trials and taken the national project lead on numerous international, multicenter research studies.

Stephanie has expert knowledge on the New Zealand and Australian ethics systems and acts as an advisor to academic institutions as well as pharmaceutical and device companies.
