Dr. Ross Prpic is the Chairman and founder of PCRG. He is based in Sydney, Australia.
Dr. Prpic is a fully certified Interventional Cardiologist and has been actively involved in clinical and research activities at a national and international level, with direct operational experience in >100 clinical trials in many therapeutic areas.
After obtaining Specialist Cardiology qualifications in Australia, he was recruited in 1998 by Harvard University, Boston, USA as Associate Director, Angiographic Core Laboratory, in addition to completing an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In 2001, he was appointed Medical Director, Trial Design and Development, Harvard Clinical Research Institute (HCRI) and was responsible for over 50 single and multi-center clinical trials of new cardiovascular devices and cardiac therapies.
Since returning to Australia in August 2003, he has spearheaded the clinical trial and regulatory activities of PCRG with direct responsibility for over 60 clinical trial programs. In addition, he has served as a Specialist Advisor to a number of medical device and pharmaceutical companies in the United States, Australia and Asia, and also to select large US financial and trading companies.
Dr. Prpic serves on several international editorial boards in the role of an Ad Hoc Reviewer, and makes scholarly contributions as an invited lecturer and abstract presenter at international scientific conferences. Dr. Prpic has written multiple publications including journal articles, reviews, and textbook chapters.
